The writing roles that we are currently looking to fill, on a voluntary basis, are as follows:
For a more inquisitive look at the beautiful game, we are eager to bring on board feature writers who can create unique, detailed and entertaining articles which are guaranteed to get fans talking.
These can be on an endless variety of subjects, from analysing why a team is doing so well to a list of top things in pretty much any aspect of the game.
Features tend to draw the highest amount of views, so if you have a keen eye for football and you want your writing to be seen, we want to hear from you!
Ideally feature writers would produce between 1-2 articles a week, in the region of 500-1000 words per piece – but if your article is especially insightful and comprehensive, feel free to write to your heart’s content!
Perfect for anyone who is looking to enter a career in sports journalism, we’re looking for people to write concise and informative news stories on the latest happenings in the world of football.
From transfer rumours and managerial murmurs to bombshells that change the face of the game forever, we want to keep our fans updated on everything football – and we want you to help us deliver this vision!
Ideally news writers would produce between 2-4 articles a week, in the region of around 100-300 words per piece depending on the kind of story.
Perfect for devoted fans of a particular team, this role allows you to write news, opinion columns, match previews, match reports, transfer speculation and all the latest behind-the-scenes happenings from your club.
Your articles will be shared and promoted on social media, so potentially millions of fellow fans worldwide will be able to read your news and thoughts – and you could even make your name known to the club itself!
Ideally club contributors would produce between 2-4 articles a week, with one of these preferably focusing on the relevant game taking place that week.
Please note: We are only able to offer unpaid voluntary roles at present. However, we aim to help our team members prosper by providing guidance and helping to develop skills for their CV.
