  1. Bordeaux winger Malcom has reiterated that he wants to sign for an "elite club in Europe" and is currently learning English ahead of a possible move to the Premier League. The Ligue 1 outfit refused to sell the Brazilian during the January window despite reported interest from Manchester United and Bayern Munich, in addition to Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur. Malcom signed a contract extension until 2021 in September, but has hinted he could leave his current club at the end of the season if Europe's biggest clubs come calling. "I want to play for an elite club in Europe, win the Champions League and play for the Selecao," the 21-year-old told Sky Sports Germany. "When I play for a big club, my chances improve. I want to thank Bordeaux for everything. "First I want to finish the season with the best possible result and then I am going to sit down with my agent and family. Together we will make a decision. "I am learning English, because it is the most important language in the world. Wherever you are, with English you can get along. So that is very important for me. "I have learned the language very quickly, had no big troubles. French was much more difficult. So I would manage to live in England. But in the end I can integrate everywhere." 2. New Bordeaux manager Gus Poyet has stressed that Arsenal target Malcom will not be leaving the club in January. The 20-year-old winger is believed to be on the Gunners' radar, as well as reportedly interesting North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur. However, Poyet - named as the replacement for Jocelyn Gourvennec on Saturday - says he would not have taken the job if Malcolm was on the brink of being sold. The former Brighton & Hove Albion and Sunderland boss told L'Equipe: "I asked straight away if Malcom would be staying or not. They said 'yes'. I said 'OK, now we can continue the discussion'." Club president Stephane Martin also stated that Malcom would not be leaving this month, adding: "Malcom, it has been said and said again, he will not be leaving. "He has said he wants to play in the Premier League one day. That is normal, what player wouldn't want to play in England? There is no problem with Malcom."
