League One Preview: Bradford City face Portsmouth and Shrewsbury Town meet Charlton Athletic

More vital games this coming Tuesday that will have a critical bearing at both ends of the table.....here goes!

    BRADFORD CITY v PORTSMOUTH

Simon Grayson's Bantams are at last showing a bit of fight with a creditable draw with promotion chasing Shrewsbury last time out. They face another team aiming for a play off place in Pompey who by all accounts were a little unlucky not to win at Plymouth at the weekend. Three points is a must for Pompey but I can see Bradford frustrating them.

    Prediction: Score draw

    DONCASTER ROVERS v BURY

Donny look to be ending the season on a high, further damaging MK's survival hopes by coming back from a goal down to beat them at the weekend. Relegated Bury won't put up much resistance I fear.

    Prediction: Home win

    GILLINGHAM v ROTHERHAM UNITED

To their credit Gills aren't letting their season peter out drawing their last three games in games with Donny, Oldham and Blackburn but have gone five games without a win. The Millers fresh from gaining a fine point at Wigan will be looking for revenge for a 3-1 Gills win at NYS earlier in the season.

    Prediction: Score draw

    ROCHDALE v OLDHAM ATHLETIC

A MASSIVE game for both of these Lancashire near neighbours. Three points for either would go a long way in their bid for survival. Oldham are still drawing far too many games to pull clear while Dale go into the game buoyed by a fantastic win at Posh. Dale to continue their revival for me.

    Prediction: Home win

    SHREWSBURY TOWN v CHARLTON ATHLETIC

This game is a must win for both teams. Shrewsbury are on a bit of a dip in form that is damaging their automatic promotion hopes while the inconsistent Addicks lost the six pointer with Scunny after creditably gaining their play off place back.

    Prediction: Score draw

    WIGAN ATHLETIC v OXFORD UNITED

Wigan will be looking to get back to winning ways after being held to a 0-0 draw by the Millers on Saturday. Whilst not safe from relegation by any means Oxford's weekend victory was a relief and put a bit of daylight between them and the bottom four but they'll come unstuck against title chasing Athletic.

    Prediction: Home win
