Just two Championship games tonight but they are significant ones as automatic promotion chasers Cardiff City and Derby County seek to move up the table, while Bolton Wanderers and Sheffield Wednesday will be looking over their shoulders as they look to edge further away from the bottom three.
How will these games pan out? Football Manics takes a closer look with this preview.
Cardiff City vs. Bolton Wanderers
Cardiff are unbeaten in four league games since a run of four consecutive defeats, going into this game on the back of a 1-1 draw at Millwall, and will be desperate for a win to try and cut the gap between themselves and second-placed Aston Villa to one point.
Likewise, unbeaten-in-three Bolton will want a win at the Cardiff City Stadium to put further distance between themselves and the bottom three, but their away record in the league is poor, collecting just eight points on the road.
In terms of head to head, Cardiff haven't kept a league clean sheet against Bolton since January 1989, conceding in all nine matches since, and only one of the last 20 meetings between these teams in all competitions has ended as a draw.
Neil Warnock's record against Bolton isn't tremendously good - just one win in his last seven meetings - and Phil Parkinson has got the better of him in their last three meetings, but at the same time I think the Bluebirds will probably have just enough to beat the Whites.
Score prediction: 2-1
Sheffield Wednesday vs. Derby County
Wednesday continue to struggle under new boss Jos Luhukay and remain winless in seven, though four of their last five have been draws so there is at least a platform to build on, even if losing to Birmingham City and drawing with Barnsley are hardly ideal results.
As for Derby, they are now unbeaten in 12 but they have drawn four of their last six and, with Aston Villa winning their last seven, the Rams have slipped off second spot, a position they can reclaim with victory at Hillsborough.
Derby's defence is a particularly strong point - they have only conceded just two Championship goals in 2018, fewer than any other side. However, they may be missing Curtis Davies, George Thorne and Matej Vydra as they picked up knocks against Norwich.
The Owls will be hoping to finally break their duck under Luhukay and, with Atdhe Nuhiu in such good form, they should be a match for Gary Rowett's side, and I think this will end in a draw.
Score prediction: 1-1
