Neymar's future at Paris Saint-Germain continues to be the subject of speculation as a report suggests that he has told his family and friends of his desire to leave the Parc des Princes.
The Brazil international joined PSG from Barcelona last season in a world-record £198m move and has certainly delivered on the pitch, scoring 29 goals and registering 19 assists in just 30 games.
However, ABC News has reported that Neymar, who is currently sidelined due to a foot injury, has taken the decision not to play for PSG again.
"I won't go back to PSG, [the decision] is irreversible... if I come here, a league without tradition, and they whistle me, I don't want to continue for one minute more," the 26-year-old is reported to have told his loved ones.
Although Real Madrid have been primarily linked with a move for Neymar, Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo has suggested that, prior to PSG’s Champions League defeat to Real on Tuesday, the player informed Barca of his wish to rejoin them.
