Arsenal has reportedly enquired about signing Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard on a permanent transfer.
The 22-year-old, who spent the second half of last season out on loan at the Emirates, is believed to be worth the region of £30m.
Odegaard, who joined Real Madrid back in 2015, had only made eight league appearances for the Spanish giants, and had also spent time out on loan with Heerenveen, Vitesse and Real Sociedad before his move to Premier League side Arsenal.
The deal is believed to be in advanced negations, however, much work is needed to be done in order for the Gunners' to sign the Norway international.
He has made 20 appearances and scored two goals in all competitions for Mikel Arteta's side last season.
